City Index is one of the world’s leading providers of Contract for Difference and spread betting services. The company was formed in 1983 with CFD services being introduced later in 2001. With the company being as experienced as it is, you would expect to find a first class service and that is exactly what you get. The company did encounter problems a few years ago and had a high number of disgruntled clients although these issues have now been rectified.

First of all we need to mention the trading platform that is as good as, if not better than most of the competition out there. Not only does it look the part but it functions like a dream with extremely quick execution speeds and high stability.
Trading is available 24 hours a day from the comfort of your home or on the move with its award winning mobile trading app (more to come on that shortly).

If you are looking to place a large quantity of your trades on the move then we would definitely recommend City Index’s “City Trading” app. The facility is available on Iphone, blackberry, ITP and Android.
